Ianina Kalinich

ASPP Program Officer

Yana is a Program Officer at the Federation, responsible for the Scholarly Book Awards (ASPP). As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over eight years of experience, she brings a strong background in project management and international collaboration to her role.

Before joining the Federation, Yana worked with Good Neighbors Canada, where she contributed to emergency relief projects that helped refugees find safety and adapt to new environments. She also worked with various United Nations agencies across Asia and the Middle East, addressing critical issues such as assistive technologies, climate change, and land conservation.

Yana holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) and is fluent in three languages: English, French, and Russian.

In her free time, Yana loves to read, paint, and hike with her dog, often juggling all three passions.
