Lamis El-Zein 

Manager, Governance and Operations

Lamis El-Zein is the Manager, Governance and Operations at the Federation. She is responsible for the overall management and planning of the Federation's governance system, operations, and the President & CEO's office.

Before joining the Federation, Lamis served for 10 years as a Senior Legal Coordinator at Mubadala Investment Company in the United Arab Emirates. She assisted the Chief Legal Officer and Head of Corporate Governance and Compliance in planning and implementing the company’s legal, governance, compliance, and government affairs, and supported the Board of Directors, Board Committees, and the company’s Investment Committee.  

Lamis holds a Bachelor Degree in Law and a Research Master Degree in Criminal Law from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the Lebanese University in Beirut, and recently completed the Professional Director Certification Program® and earnt her Professional Director® designation. 

Lamis speaks English, French, and Arabic. In her free time, she enjoys reading, biking, and baking with her two daughters.
