Hélène Fasciano-Lussier

Hélène is the Federation's Director, Meetings & Events.
 

Despite recently joining the Federation, Hélène has over 30 years of event management experience and has worked as a Congress Manager in the not-for-profit sector for over 15 years.

Hélène has had an extensive 19-year career working for the World Federation of Hemophilia. Hélène combines her knowledge and expertise with her trademark flexibility and interpersonal communication skills, having led a team that supported various internal and external stakeholders with events, conferences and symposiums. Hélène has experience project managing both in-person and virtual events, and has supported program committees in developing the international program, abstract management, speaker and presentation management.

Hélène's career took her to many cities around the world. Hélène holds a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University, and has continued her studies with completing a Digital Event Strategist (DES) course as well as completing a Grant writing program.

Hélène enjoys food and wine pairings, travelling and playing golf with her husband of over 30 years, and spending quality time with her four cats.
