Researchers: Opt into the media outreach program
Are you a researcher presenting material at Congress that the media and public should know about? The media outreach program is an exceptional opportunity to generate awareness about and increase the reach of your work.
Media coverage of research being presented at Congress serves to remind Canadians of the value of the humanities and social sciences, and of the important contributions these disciplines make to the advancement of knowledge. The Federation plays a key role in making this happen, by running a media outreach program for our members. Media attention gives you, your association and your institution valuable promotion in and out of the academic community and increased visibility with the broader public.
What we can do for you:
The Federation actively engages with media in the weeks and days ahead of Congress to build awareness around the exciting research being presented. We help journalists navigate the extensive programming and facilitate their access to researchers.
By opting into the media outreach program, you also have the opportunity to have your research promoted through the Federation’s social media and interview opportunities. Opt in and become a featured figure in the Congress 2025 story.
To participate, you must opt in to the media outreach program by May 23, 2025 (early submissions are encouraged).
Media: Get accredited
