Finally, a place where Ontarians can satisfy their many curiosities!
ST CATHARINES, Ontario
Saturday, May 24, 2014
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Pen Centre, 221 Glendale Avenue, St. Catharines
The Curiosity Shop: share your curiosity, bring us your questions!
Ever wonder...
- Why is the grass always greener on the other side?
- Is global warming real?
- Are cardiovascular conditions reversible?
How it works:
The public’s questions are recorded at a travelling booth called The Curiosity Shop. Questions are distributed to researchers in Ontario universities. Selected questions – and answers – are posted online.
The next two Curiosity Shops will be:
- May 24 at Pen Centre in St. Catharines – open to the whole family.
- May 25—30 at Brock University, who is hosting Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences – with special research guests both asking and answering questions.
It’s a great media story! Bring your cameras, recorders and anything else to find out what’s on peoples’ minds and how research makes a big difference in everyday life.
