Webinar: Build your research impact
Dear members of the social science and humanities community,
On November 10, the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences is hosting a free webinar entitled “Build your research impact,” which may be of interest to students and researchers in your institution, organization, or network. Geared towards graduate students and early-career researchers in the humanities and social sciences, this event will bring together a panel of experts to help identify strategies and opportunities to grow the impact of one's research.
This webinar will present new knowledge mobilization tools and empower students and researchers to communicate and share their research with non-specialist audiences. The webinar will cover the benefits of expanding the reach of one's work beyond academia by engaging with media and the community.
Please feel free to download and circulate the PDF invitation to any departments, programs, and student groups in your institution or organization that may be interested in attending. The webinar will take place via Zoom, with simultaneous interpretation in French. There will be live captioning in English and French, and transcripts will be available post-event.
This webinar is part of the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences’ Career Corner series of professional development workshops, sponsored by University Affairs. Please reach out to contact@federationhss.ca with any questions.
