Meghan MacDougall
Meetings and Events Officer
Meghan MacDougall is the Federation's Meetings and Events Officer.
She first began working in event management during her time at Algonquin College, where she completed a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Throughout this program, Meghan completed several co-op experiences including working at a hotel, golf resort, and restaurant. Working with a team of other graduates, Meghan planned and hosted a charity event to support the Breakfast Club of Canada. During this time, she returned to school to study dementia care from a recreational therapy perspective. She also spent some time working abroad in China, leading after school programs for children of all ages as a certified TEFL instructor.
