The opening roundtable of the Canadian Comparative Literature Association / Association canadienne de littérature comparée (CCLA – ACLC), organized in collaboration with the Association of Canadian College and University Teachers of English (ACCUTE), aims to showcase the role of comparative work in rethinking the future of research in the humanities, with a focus on the particularities of the Canadian context. The event will explore the role of multilingualism, collaborative work, research-creation and non-conventional modes of thinking in academic research and expertise.
